MISSION: To empower women & men to become self sufficient by providing assistance with health and wellness, education, safety and prevention, as well as job training and career development. Dress to impress.
- Positive Images is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit women’s organization formed to assist women and their families who are in transition.
- Positive Images has served approximately 10,000 individuals in its seminars and services
- Positive Images provides:
- A center to address gender specific barriers, health and empowerment issues
- Professional clothing for the first interview
- Job readiness seminars
- Dress for success seminars
- Support groups to assist in retaining jobs, AA, NA, Toastmasters
- Substance abuse outpatient treatment
- Counseling and testing for HIVAIDS
- HIV/AIDS prevention services
- Transitional housing for men and women

- Since April 19, 1997
>> Where is it located?
- In Broward and Miami-Dade Counties with locations in Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale (Oakland Park), and North Miami, Florida.

- Positive Images works with those:
- Coming off Welfare to Work
- Entering or re-entering the job market
- Recently released from prison
- Coming from substance abuse facilities, and/or
- Coming from homeless shelters
- Homeless Veterans
- Senior Citizens
- Youth
>> How can I help?
- Donate accessories and gently used professional attire, clean and on hangers
- Assist in updating the web site
- Purchase undergarments, cosmetics, toiletries, personal hygiene items
- Volunteer on the board of directors
- Volunteer at one of our locations, dressing women/men, or facilitate seminars
- Assist in grant writing, fundraising or join the speakers bureau
- Get involved in our special events
